BOP Handling Systems

ATS BOP Handling Systems are well suited to hazardous, potentially explosive environments because of their intrinsically safe design. ATS BOP Systems are classified as equipment category 2 for Zone 1 applications. ATS Hoists have a modular design concept. This allows many different configurations - giving you the choice request one of our many different arrangements; from standard trolley mounted, low headroom, or ultra low headroom Hoists to suite your spatial requirements. We offer a choice of vane air motor or hydraulic motor options.

All ATS BOP handling systems are fitted standard with a Filter Regulator and Lubricator, this is to ensure that the hoist motors are keep free of debris and lubricated. The motor components have all been surface treated to reduce internal corrosion, this has been done to extended cycle life and less downtime.



Rack and pinion drive system is ideal for the harsh offshore environment, by design the system offers a positive engagement. The rack sections can be bolted or welded on to the underside of the beam.
